Torcilocid Concentrate is a high-level disinfectant offering excellent bactericidal, sporicidal, fungicidal, tuberculocidal, and virucidal activity. It is effective against HBV and HIV viruses. This disinfectant provides rapid action, with a disinfection time of just 20 to 25 minutes, and offers prolonged residual activity, ensuring a high degree of asepsis with a pleasant odor. Unlike free-formaldehyde, the chemically bound formaldehyde in Torcilocid Concentrate does not irritate the eyes, making it a safer choice.
Why Choose Torcilocid Concentrate?
- Comprehensive Biocidal Action: Effective against bacteria, fungi, viruses (including HIV and HBV), spores, and tuberculosis
- Cost-Effective: One 500 ml bottle makes up to 100 liters of solution (0.5% dilution)
- Rapid Disinfection: Starts working in just 20 to 25 minutes, making it ideal for fast-paced environments
- Long Shelf Life: Stable for up to three years, ensuring reliability over time
- Corrosion Protection: Contains corrosion inhibitors for safe use on sensitive surfaces
- Pleasant Odor: Leaves behind a fresh fragrance while disinfecting
Ideal for Use in
- Non-critical areas: Wards, corridors, OPDs, clinics, laboratories, and dental clinics
- High-risk areas: ICU, ICCU, OT, neonatal, oncology departments, trauma care, and pharmaceutical sterile sections
- Spray or Mop Applications: Ideal for general cleaning in exposed areas
- Fumigation: Can be used for fumigating critical areas when necessary
- Spray or Mop: Apply the diluted solution on exposed surfaces and keep wet for 15-20 minutes for optimal results.
- Fumigation: Use the calculated amount of Torcilocid Concentrate for fumigating areas as needed.
Standard Guidelines for Mopping and Spraying
- 2% Weekly: 100 ml Torcilocid Concentrate in 5 liters of water
- 1% Alternate Days: 50 ml Torcilocid Concentrate in 5 liters of water
- 0.5% Daily: 25 ml Torcilocid Concentrate in 5 liters of water
Fumigation Guideline
- For 1 cubic meter (35.28 cubic ft), use 5 ml of Torcilocid Concentrate
- To calculate for a larger area:
- For (X) cubic ft, use (X) x 5 ml ÷ 35.28 = (Y) ml of Torcilocid Concentrate
- Water requirement for fumigation: (Y) ml of Torcilocid Concentrate × 7.5 ml of water
- Chemically Bound Formaldehyde: Effective against a broad range of pathogens without the irritation of free-formaldehyde
- Glutaraldehyde: Strong disinfectant, especially effective against bacterial spores
- Benzalkonium Chloride: Acts as a surfactant and disinfectant, effective against various bacteria
- Alkyl Urea Derivative: Enhances the effectiveness of disinfection
- Corrosion Inhibitors: To ensure the safety of surfaces and equipment during use
- Free Formaldehyde: A carcinogenic compound not preferred in disinfectants
- Harsh Chemicals: No use of harsh, potentially irritating chemicals
