Frequent hand washes during ward visits.

Pre-operative and Post-operative bathing of patients-whole body & hair, on the day of operation, and on the third day after operation excluding wound area.

Direction for use:

5 Litre

For pre-operative surgical hand disinfection:

Take 5 ml on wet hands and rub for two minutes on hands and forearms. Clean nails with brush or scrapper. Rinse and dry.

For antiseptic hand wash in ward:

Take 5 ml on wet hands and wash for one minute. Rinse and dry.

For pre & post operative skin antisepsis for patient:

Take 25 ml on wet sponge and wash the whole body & hair one day before operation, on the day of operation and on the third day of operation excluding wound. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Repeat this process once again. Bed ridden patients can be washed with Germiclean Surgical Wash using a standard bed bath technique.

Chlorhexidine Gluconate Solution IP …… 20 % v/v, (equivalent to Chlorhexidine Gluconate…. 4 % w/v)
