Chlorhexidine Acetate is a time -tested antiseptic with extensive clinical use.
Active against wide range of Gram +ve & Gram –ve bacteria, Fungi & Yeast.
Effective in in-vitro & in-vivo against MRSA (Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus), the commonest cause of infection in wounds & burns.
Maintains antibacterial activity for 8 days which requires fewer dressing changes, making it cost–effective.
Well tolerated by delicate or exposed skin tissue. It can be used on a large area of wounds i.e. up to 10 % of the body area, where a maximum of four dressings can be applied at any one time.
Maintains its antiseptic efficacy even in the presence of blood & pus, making it a highly effective dressing on an open wound.

High infection risk in superficial burns, scald, superficial skin injuries, donor and recipient graft sites, leg ulcers, pressure sores, laceration and abrasions.
Post operative dressings after plastic surgery, skin transplants, eczema, and dermatitis.
Instruction for use:
One layer of “GermiDress Chlorhexin Tulle” Gras dressing should be applied directly to the surface of the lesion being treated with the help of forceps under sterile conditions. (For external use only)

Contraindication:
Hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the preparation.
