Activation:
Empty the contents of the activator bottle into the jar, and shake well. When the colour of the activated solution turns green, it indicates that the solution is ready for the use. Record the date of activation and expiration date clearly on the container label, the space provided under the heading “Activation Date” and “Expiration Date” (14 days from the date of activation) and also on the secondary container used for the activated solution.
Directions for use:
Clean, rinse and rough dry objects thoroughly before immersion in Tridex Plus activated solution. Clean and rinse the lumens of hollow instruments before filling with Tridex Plus activated solution.
For high-level disinfection:
Immerse in Tridex Plus for a minimum of 20 minutes at 20°C.
For sterilization:
Immerse in Tridex Plus for 10 hours at 25°C. Remove equipment using sterile technique and rinse thoroughly.
